**New Delhi Railway Station Becomes India's Highest-Earning Railway Hub**

Indian Railways, one of the world's largest railway networks, operates over 7,308 stations and manages an extensive daily traffic of 13,000 trains carrying more than 20 million passengers. These stations generate substantial revenue through various sources such as shops, advertisements, and platform tickets. Among them, New Delhi Railway Station emerged as the highest-earning station in the 2023-24 fiscal year, recording an impressive revenue of Rs 3,337 crore, according to railway data. In addition to its top earnings, it is also one of the busiest stations, having served 39,362,272 passengers over the year.
