Lava Shark Launched in India: Budget Smartphone with 50MP Camera & 120Hz Display

Lava Mobiles has introduced its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Lava Shark, in India. This entry-level device features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth viewing experience. It also packs a 50MP main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Powering the Lava Shark is the Unisoc T606 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 14 and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

The Lava Shark comes in two color options: Titanium Gold and Stealth Black. Priced at INR 6,999 ($82), it will be available at Lava retail stores later this month.
