Anthropic Developing Voice Capabilities for Claude AI

AI startup Anthropic is reportedly working on a voice mode for its chatbot, Claude. Chief Product Officer Mike Krieger confirmed that the company is exploring voice interactions to create a more natural user interface, especially for desktop use.

Anthropic has developed internal prototypes and is in discussions with Amazon and ElevenLabs to enhance Claude’s voice features, though no formal agreements have been made. The company is also engaging with multiple partners to accelerate the launch of its voice capabilities.
