Oppo Find X8s and X8s+ Unveiled with Dimensity 9400+ and Massive Batteries

Oppo has expanded its flagship lineup with the introduction of the Find X8s and Find X8s+, complementing the premium Find X8 Ultra. These two new models bring high-end performance and features at a more accessible price point while maintaining a sleek and durable design.

The Find X8s is the more compact of the two, featuring a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Despite its smaller form factor, it houses a robust 5,700mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Find X8s+ steps up with a larger 6.59-inch AMOLED screen (FHD+ 120Hz) and a slightly bigger 6,000mAh battery, while retaining the same fast charging capabilities.

Under the hood, both phones are powered by the new Dimensity 9400+ chipset, boasting an overclocked prime core running at 3.73GHz, and improved AI functionality. Storage and memory options go up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

Camera setups are nearly identical, with each phone featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS (24mm), a 50MP ultra-wide lens (15mm) offering a 120° field of view, and a third telephoto lens. The X8s gets an 85mm 50MP telephoto with f/2.6 and dual-axis OIS, while the X8s+ opts for a 73mm 50MP telephoto with f/2.8 and the same stabilization tech.

Both devices ship with ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15 and come with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. They also support Oppo’s Mag Magnetic Ecosystem, allowing magnetic accessories like battery packs to attach via a proprietary case.

Pricing starts at CNY 4,199 (approx. $571) for the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage variant and goes up to CNY 5,499 (approx. $748) for the 16GB / 1TB version. Pre-orders are now live in China, with deliveries beginning April 16. Oppo has not yet revealed plans for international release.
