AirPods Production in India Reportedly Begins Next Month

Foxconn will begin assembling AirPods at its Hyderabad, India, factory in April, according to the Press Trust of India. While the report does not specify which AirPods models will be produced, all units will be exported. This move aligns with Apple's ongoing efforts to diversify its supply chain beyond China and Taiwan by expanding production into countries like India and Vietnam. Foxconn had previously agreed to manufacture AirPods in India in 2023 and is now set to commence production.
