Vivo CEO Showcases X200 Ultra’s Low-Light Ultra-Wide Camera

Vivo CEO Showcases X200 Ultra’s Low-Light Ultra-Wide Camera

Vivo CEO Han Boxiao continues to highlight the low-light capabilities of the upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra by sharing new sample images on Weibo. Previously, Han compared the device’s camera to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Canon 5D Mk IV.

The latest post focuses solely on the X200 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera, which features a 50MP Sony LYT-818 1/1.28” sensor, a 14mm Zeiss lens, and optical image stabilization (OIS). Han chose not to share comparison shots with other smartphones, stating that the difference was too significant to be fair.

While the vivo X200 Pro’s ultra-wide camera didn’t impress due to its smaller ISOCELL JN1 1/2.76” sensor, the Ultra model is expected to deliver a major leap in performance. The X200 Ultra will also feature two dedicated imaging chips—the vivo V3+ for post-processing and the new vivo VS1 for pre-processing. Additionally, all three cameras (main, ultra-wide, and periscope) will be equipped with OIS, promising superior stabilization.
