Ultraviolette introduced the Tesseract and Shockwave a few days ago in India, having introductory prices of Rs. 1.20 lakh and Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric enduro motorcycle garnered 1,000 pre-bookings in just a day leading to the brand extending the intro price to 1,000 more buyers.The Tesseract electric scooter, on the other hand, has gone even better as it recorded over 20,000 reservations in just two days. considering good initial response, the homegrown manufacturer has extended the introductory price of Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 50,000 customers – previously it was only for the initial 10,000 bookings.The Ultraviolette Tesseract’s price will be increased by Rs. 25,000 if you are not one of the first 50,000 customers.
It offers a claimed riding range of 261 km on a single charge. It delivers a peak power output of 20.10 bhp and has a top speed of 125 kmph. The electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest in its segment.The e-scooter is equipped with 14-inch wheels at both ends and features a dual-channel ABS system. Marking Ultraviolette’s debut in the electric scooter segment, it stands as India’s first scooter with radar technology and introduces several industry-first features, including an advanced ADAS system. The scooter has a standard 3-year or 75,000 km warranty which can be extended up to 8 years or 200,000 km. For those who booked, the final variant selection and configuration will be intimated in Q4 2025.
