Nubia Z70S Ultra Goes Global with Powerful Specs and Advanced Camera System

After launching in China earlier this year, the nubia Z70S Ultra is now officially making its way to international markets. The smartphone comes in two configurations: the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $779 / £659 / €769, while the higher-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will retail for $869 / £769 / €869.

One of the standout features of the Z70S Ultra is its impressive camera system. Leading the setup is a 50 MP OmniVision Light & Shadow Master 990 sensor, sized at 1/1.3 inches. Nubia claims this sensor delivers "image quality that exceeds one-inch standards". It's paired with a fixed f/1.7 35mm lens for sharp and detailed shots. The main camera is supported by a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/2" sensor, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera featuring a 1/2.88" sensor and autofocus capabilities.

On the front, users will find a 16 MP under-display selfie camera, allowing for a seamless, uninterrupted viewing experience. The display itself is a large 6.85-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1216 x 2688 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for both media consumption and mobile gaming.

Under the hood, the Z70S Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring top-tier performance. It also boasts a massive 6,600 mAh battery, with support for 80W fast wired charging to keep users powered throughout the day.

In addition to the smartphone, nubia is also preparing to release the nubia Pad Pro to global markets. While the official launch date is set for June 12, pricing details have yet to be announced.

Stay tuned for more updates as Nubia continues its global expansion with these high-performance devices.
