iPhone 18 Pro May Feature Under-Screen Face ID in 2025

Display analyst Ross Young initially projected that under-screen Face ID would debut with the iPhone 17 Pro, but later revised his prediction to 2026, suggesting it may first appear on the iPhone 18 Pro models. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman supports a similar timeline, stating that by 2026 or 2027, Apple may reduce the size of the Dynamic Island by integrating more components under the display.
